Every month Netflix makes a slew of new series and films available. On iPhone we look forward to the new offer every month and pick the best tips for you. These are often new series and films, but also old favorites that appear on Netflix.

1. Making a Murderer (season 2)
True crime is popular, but there are only a few cases that everyone really talks about. That was the case with the first season of the podcast Serial, but also with Netflix’s Making a Murderer. The second season will be released in October. This documentary series follows Steven Avery, who may have been wrongfully convicted of murder. This second season introduces Kathleen Zellner who specializes in wrongly convicted people.

2. Chilling Adventures of Sabrina (season 1)
Remember Sabrina the Teenage Witch? That comic series was about the young witch Sabrina who lived with her two aunts and a talking cat. This series now returns, but in a completely different way. Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is a much more serious adaptation of the comic books. Featuring Kiernan Shipka (Mad Men) as Sabrina, Michelle Gomez (Doctor Who) as Madam Satan and Miranda Otto (The Lord of the Rings) as aunt Zelda. The first images promise an exciting adventure.

3. Daredevil (season 3)
Daredevil is back with a third season that promises to be exciting and dark. Super villain Wilson Fisk is released. Netflix’s Marvel series are especially good when there is a well-written and acted villain facing the heroes, and that’s certainly the case with Fisk. Of course, other well-known characters such as Karen Page and Foggy Nelson will also return.

4. The Good Place (season 3)
The most fun and most original comedy series of the moment is back with a third season. In the coming months you can enjoy The Good Place every week again. In this season, the group lands on Earth, where all four of them are given another chance to do good. Is that actually going well? And can they finally swear? Check Netflix every Friday for a new episode.
5. The Haunting of Hill House (season 1)
Halloween is coming again, so that means more horror on your television. Including the new horror series The Haunting of Hill House, with Michiel Huisman in an important role. It’s about five siblings who grew up in the most famous haunted house in the United States. Now they are adults and return when their youngest sister has committed suicide. What dangers are hiding in the shadows.
