New on Netflix: May 2019
Every month Netflix makes a slew of new series and films available. On iPhone we look ahead every month at the new offer with the best tips. These are often new series and films, but also old favorites that appear on Netflix.
All you have to do is put the series and movies on your list, or press play when the time comes. Our New to Netflix guide keeps you up to date with the must-see series and movies every month.
1. Undercover (season 1)
It is finally time for the very first Netflix Original from the Netherlands with Undercover. In this series you follow Ferry Bowman (Frank Lammers). With his ecstasy production, he is also called the Pablo Escobar of the south. Two undercover agents (Tom Waes and Anna Drijver) try to penetrate this network in order to roll it up.
2. Lucifer (season 4)
The Lucifer series was canceled by channel Fox, but now finds a new home with a fourth season at Netflix. The series is about Lucifer Morningstar, the devil, who runs a nightclub in Los Angeles and works with the police to solve cases. The fourth season consists of ten episodes. The first five episodes will be on Netflix from May 10. The rest will follow later.
3. The Rain (season 2)
The Danish Netflix Original The Rain comes with a second season. In this post-apocalyptic series, the rain turns people into zombies. Season 1’s main characters are back as they try to escape from Apollon. Along with Rasmus, who turns out not only to be immune to the virus, but also contagious.
4. Nailed It! (season 3)
Nailed It! is back in its own place. After an edition around the holidays and an edition in Mexico, the third season of Nailed It is back where it started. That means that Nicole Byer and Jacques Torres are once again served a pile of hilarious misfits. This season includes a Marvel episode. That will be a pleasure.
5. What / If (season 1)
Netflix has roped in Renée Zellweger for a new series. What / If is a neo-noir thriller that looks at what people do for money. A mysterious woman, played by Zellweger, makes an offer to a newly married couple that they cannot pass up.
