Mocro Mafia (season 4)
After last month’s preview (Mocro Mafia: Meltem), season 4 of the popular crime series will be released on Videoland on January 28. Romano and ‘The Pope’ get into a fight as usual in the darkest recesses of the underworld.
Unfortunately, no story details and trailers have been released for now. It is known that the character (Meltem) from the recently released short film will play a prominent role. By the way, you won’t be able to binge watch the entire season from the end of January. A new episode is released every week.
Gomorrah (season 1 to 4)
January is a good month for lovers of the crime genre, because on January 17, Videoland will release the first four seasons of Gomorrah. This mournful Italian series portrays various mafia practices in and around the famous city of Naples. Gomorrah follows various pursuits of the Savastano family. In this gangster family, hierarchy is an important factor.
Don Pietro Savastano controls just about all criminal activity in the region and is determined to prepare his son Gennaro as his surefire successor. Because of the riotous character of ‘Genny’, various family struggles and hostile gangsters, this is not without a struggle. Once Don Pietro ends up in prison, the reputation of the Savastano family is at stake.
Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders (season 1 & 2)
Fans of the popular series Criminal Minds can stream the spin-off Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders starting January 10. It concerns two seasons in which a specialized FBI team assists Americans abroad. The striking team members try to solve crimes across the border and bring their compatriots home safely.
The episodes include (alleged) murders, missing persons and kidnappings. In addition to Chief Jack Garrett, the elite team includes a medical specialist, anthropologist, former soldier and technical analyst. Incidentally, with Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior, another spin-off will appear on Videoland on January 10.
Gangs Of Lemur Island
This beautiful wildlife series follows several rival groups of ring-tailed lemurs in Madagascar. See how they look for food and how they end up in the inhabited world of the African island. Enjoy beautiful images of the Berenty Reserve while doing this. Gangs Of Lemur Island premieres January 31.

Dakar, I Love It I Hate It
Don’t have plans on New Year’s Day and are you a racing fanatic? Then enjoy Dakar, I Love It I Hate It on this day off. This documentary looks back at the 2015 Dakar Rally. During the desert race in South America, Tom Coronel made unique images of other Dutch participants and himself.
The stages were not without a struggle and Tom Coronel even rolled over once. Despite various setbacks (material failure) and the accompanying emotions, he managed to reach the finish line in his self-built buggy.
Movies
Videoland has a lot of interesting films in the pipeline in January. For example, on the first day of 2022, the triptych of the classic horror film Hellraiser will appear on the streaming platform.
