Fans of Dutch-language series and films will benefit greatly from Videoland. After a free trial of two weeks you can take out a subscription from € 4.99 per month. Which fresh films and series can you expect in June. This is new on Videoland.

Stumptown (season 1)

When former war veteran Dex Parios returns to the United States, she tries to build a career as a private detective. Unfortunately, the young woman in Afghanistan lost her husband. Due to the necessary trauma and a messy private life, Dex struggles to find her place in society. Unfortunately, she quickly falls into disrepair, with the (gambling) debts piling up rapidly. To make matters worse, this makes it difficult for her to care for her mentally challenged younger brother. During her work there is no room for relaxation, because in the role of private detective, the ex-marine comes face to face with the most serious criminals. Can Dex get her hectic life in order? The eighteen episodes of Stumptown can be seen from June 7.

Follow the STD (season 1)

From June 4, the new series with the rather explicit title Follow The SOA can be admired on Videoland. The youth series zooms in on the sexual exploration of young people with everything that comes with it. In addition to themes such as friendship, love, orientation, jealousy and intimacy, expect a good dose of humor. The makers do not shy away from an (uncomfortable) subject. As soon as Esmée discovers an STD in herself, she does everything she can to find out the source. Easier said than done, because this requires her to carefully chart the love lives of her classmates. Well-known names such as Susan Visser, Jacob Derwig and Benja Bruijning can be seen in the eight episodes.

Prevent Netflix, Videoland and Disney+ streaming stress

Why Women Kill (season 2)

The first season of Why Women Kill has been on Videoland for a while, but from June 28 subscribers can start watching the ten episodes of season 2. As loyal viewers already know, this cleverly thought-out drama series focuses on different lives of different women. The ladies don’t know each other at first, but they are still connected in a certain way. The story is set in 1949 and contains a completely new cast compared to the first season. As with part one, the creator of Desperate Housewives (Marc Cherry) was behind the controls during the filming of this two season. Few details about the new episodes are known, although the trailer certainly promises a lot.

Lil Kleine: Tour Only

Recently, Lil Kleine was still negative in the news, with the rapper even ending up in a Spanish cell after an alleged argument with his girlfriend. Coincidence or not, Videoland will put the documentary Lil Kleine: Only Tour online on 3 June. Do not expect any recent outpourings, because the images were recorded more than three years ago. In a recording of over an hour and a half, a camera crew follows the popular artist during his Solo tour, culminating in a sold-out show in Afas Live in front of thousands of people. In addition to concert recordings, this documentary is full of backstage material.

Swapping Shirt: The European Championship Stories

Following the example of Villa Oranje, there will be another football program on Videoland on June 11, Shirt Ruilen: The European Championship Stories. Once again presenter Frank Evenblij is present. This time the European Championship stories of various (former) professional football players are reviewed, including Giovanni van Bronckhorst, Orlando Engelaar and Edson Braafheid. The TV program also features another remarkable moment with Anwar El Ghazi. During the recordings, the Aston Villa attacker received an app message from national coach Frank de Boer with the announcement that he was not part of the European Championship selection.
