Apple has just officially announced a special event for May 7th. The press moment will most likely be entirely dedicated to the iPad and will take place online. Apple is expected to announce the new iPad Air (6th generation) and iPad Pro with OLED screen.
The press presentation starts at 4:00 PM Dutch time and, like previous events, can be followed live on the iPhone, iPad, iPod and desktop via this pageYouTube and via the TV app on Apple TV.
Special Apple event on May 7
The special event was announced on their Events page and shared with several journalists. The presentation has already been recorded and will be shown semi-live on May 7. Some journalists and other media personalities have been invited to the Steve Jobs Theater to attend the presentation live. As always, the event has a special name or title, this time: ‘Let loose’.
What to expect
It is almost certain that Apple will announce the new iPad Air (6th generation) and iPad Pro with OLED screen during this special online meeting, and new Apple Pencil 3rd generation and accessories are also expected. It is doubtful whether Apple will also announce other iPad models, as they are not expected until the fall.
