Apple is expected to kick off the online event on June 10 with a press presentation in which they will announce software updates for their major products.
We can expect iOS 18, iPadOS 18, macOS 15, watchOS 12 and tvOS 18, among others. In addition, various announcements regarding AI (artificial intelligence) may take place. The WWDC is mainly intended for software, attending workshops and it is the place where developers can meet each other online. Perhaps hardware products such as a new Mac Studio will also be announced.
WWDC 2024 starts on June 10
Apple has announced that its annual Worldwide Developers Conference will once again be held virtually. From June 10 to June 14, all developers can follow the various sessions, presentations and workshops for free via the Apple Developer app and on the Apple Developer website. In addition, Apple has a new Developer YouTube channel where you will soon be able to find all WWDC videos and more.

Developers will soon find more information about the WWDC23 program in the Apple Developer app, including details about the Keynote, the schedule for the various sessions and more. Also on the Apple Developer website and more information will be provided via email shortly.

Forecasts WWDC24

According to various rumors, 2024 will be the year of Artificial intelligence, better known as AI (Artificial Intelligence in Dutch). Apple reportedly wants to catch up with ChatGPT and AI tools from other manufacturers such as Samsung.

Whether Apple will also announce new hardware products during WWDC is currently unknown. We may see an upgrade for the Mac Studio and/or Mac Pro.
