OnePlus is known for smartphones, earbuds and smartwatches, among other things. Now OnePlus announces its first tablet, the OnePlus Pad.
Technology brand OnePlus is entering the tablet market with the launch of its first tablet, the OnePlus Pad. This launch completes the OnePlus technology ecosystem represented by OnePlus’ “1+4+X” product matrix that includes smartphones (such as the OnePlus 9 Pro), earbuds, watches, TVs and now tablets.
Design OnePlus Pad
The OnePlus Pad features the Star Orbit engraving using CNC machined aluminum alloy. The OnePlus Pad’s centrally positioned camera makes it easy to hold and helps you get the right shots. The front of the OnePlus Pad uses 2.5D curved glass and has an 88% screen-to-body ratio thanks to a super-slim 6.54mm bezel and curved frame, a first in tablet space. It’s designed to be light and easy to hold for extended periods, according to OnePlus.
The OnePlus Pad will be available in Halo Green.
Screen OnePlus Pad
The OnePlus Pad is designed for all-round entertainment on its 11.61 inch display (1) with Dolby Vision and a 7:5 ratio display, the first of its kind, with the highest refresh rate (144Hz (2) in tablet history For example, the large and unique screen can show more lines of an e-book or enumerate more rows of a datasheet Combined with the 144Hz refresh rate, gaming is smoother than ever before.
Chipset and memory OnePlus Pad
The tablet is powered by the latest Dimensity 9000 chipset, the first mobile chip with a Cortex-X2 core with performance up to 3.05 GHz. Dimensity 9000 is an advanced SoC (system-on-a-chip) made using the TSMC N4 (4nm class) manufacturing process, based on Arm’s latest V9 architecture. It offers a 35% increase in performance and 37% more energy efficiency than Dimensity 9100.
The OnePlus Pad comes with up to 12GB of RAM or RAM and RAM Vita, allowing users to keep 24 separate apps open at the same time without any hitches. This makes switching between different apps quick and easy.
Battery OnePlus Pad
Thanks to the 9510mAh battery (3), the OnePlus Pad provides more than 14.5 hours of video viewing and can be on standby for up to 1 month (4). The OnePlus Pad supports 67W SUPERVOOC charging for a full charge in 80 minutes (5). In addition, the OnePlus Pad is equipped with AI protection for high energy output, which reduces power consumption during intensive use of demanding apps.
Furthermore, the OnePlus Pad supports a good connection between OnePlus smartphones and the OnePlus Pad (6). Thanks to mobile data sharing (7), the OnePlus Pad has internet by automatically connecting to WiFi via the smartphone. This way you don’t have to purchase a separate SIM card for the tablet.
Sound
On the audio front, we can report that the OnePlus Pad is supported by Dolby Atmos. In addition, thanks to OnePlus’ proprietary omni-sound field technology, which identifies the screen orientation and automatically switches between left and right audio channels, users can enjoy a beautiful sound experience.
OnePlus Stylo and Magnetic Keyboard as accessories
The OnePlus Pad comes with the OnePlus Stylo and the OnePlus Magnetic Keyboard.
