Oppo Find X5 smartphones launched with video in dark

Oppo is equipping its new Find X5 flagship series, consisting of the Find X5 Pro, Find X5 and Find X5 Lite, with innovative camera technologies, including Oppo’s proprietary MariSilicon X Imaging NPU. This technology is intended for a major challenge for smartphones related to video recording, namely filming in dark conditions. Design Find X5 Pro
The design of the Find X5 series builds on the earlier Find X series and the Find X5 Pro has a high-quality curved housing inspired by spacecraft. The Find X5 Pro’s ultra-hard ceramic back provides a sleek, refined finish, and this ceramic back panel takes more than 168 hours to make, according to Oppo. The housing is also splash, water and dust resistant with an IP68 rating. The device is available in Ceramic White and Glaze Black colours.

Display
The display of the OPPO Find X5 Pro is a 6.7-inch curved AMOLED screen with a WQHD+ resolution, 100% P3 color gamut coverage and the 10-bit screen displays more than 1 billion colors. The OPPO Find X5 Pro also improves display performance with the first multi-brightness color calibration of its kind, according to Oppo. This creates consistent colors whether users are looking at the screen in dim artificial light or bright sunlight.

Processor and battery
The OPPO Find X5 Pro features the fast multi-core Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor and a large 5000 mAh dual-cell battery. With the support of the upgraded 80W SUPERVOOC fast charger, the OPPO Find X5 Pro can be charged from almost empty to 50 percent in just 12 minutes. With 50W AIRVOOC, the device can also be charged wirelessly to 100 percent in just 47 minutes.

Android 12, ColorOS 12.1 and updates
Oppo’s new shell ColorOS 12.1 is present on the Find X5 series as well as Google’s Android 12 operating system, giving you full access to the Google Play Store and its more than 3 million apps.
Oppo promises three major Android updates and will roll out security patches for four years.

4K Ultra Night Video
As mentioned, filming in dark conditions is a challenge. Oppo therefore comes with a special Imaging NPU (Neural Processing Unit) called MariSilicon X, so that there is more light in the dark and where you do not lose color. MariSilicon X is designed for image processing performance, based on a 6-nanometer process, to provide a fourfold improvement in nighttime perceived video resolution, reduced grain and superior color reproduction. This makes 4K Ultra Night Video possible for the first time on an Android smartphone, with every frame as clear as a photo.
OPPO’s MariSilicon X is part of the Find X5 Pro’s advanced camera system. The wide-angle and ultra-wide-angle cameras both feature Sony’s top-of-the-line 50MP IMX766 sensors, with a sensor size of 1/1.56”, 2um large pixel size after binning.
The wide-angle camera also features a five-axis OIS system – the first of its kind – that optimizes with each use to counteract hand shake, reduce noise and sharpen scenes.
The OPPO Find X5 Pro also comes with an improved front camera. A smart 32MP lens captures details in beautiful clarity, also thanks to the MariSilicon X Imaging NPU. This allows for a wider dynamic range and beautiful real textures that make selfies shine. The Always ON (AON) function knows when to keep the screen lit. In addition, users can navigate through apps using hand gestures.
Finally, the Find X5 series is the first Oppo smartphone series to include Hasselblad camera software: this software enhances and refines the beautiful and natural colors of photos.

OPPO Find X5 and Find X5 Lite
The OPPO Find X5 and Find X5 Lite have also been introduced within the Find X5 Series, so that the performance of this series and the premium design are available to a wide audience. However, a number of specifications are of a different order than with the Pro version.
It has the Snapdragon 888 chip, you can also fast charge and there is a 4800mAh battery. The screen is slightly smaller than the X5 Pro and has a lower resolution (6.55 inches with 2400 by 1080 pixels). There are also two 50MP cameras, but the proprietary chip for image processing is missing. You can zoom in with the 13-megapixel telephoto lens.
The OPPO Find X5 is available in black and white colors and has a luxurious finish, with frosted glass and a body that is resistant to fingerprints. The matte texture, 90% of which consists of fine grains, creates a beautiful, almost silky shine that plays with light and feels nice in the hand.
In addition, the OPPO Find X5 includes the same IMX766 dual camera system, which is powered by OPPO’s proprietary MariSilicon X NPU. In addition, the smartphone features a 6.5-inch 120Hz billion-color display, 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging, wireless charging with 30W AIRVOOC and more.
With the OPPO Find X5 Lite, users can take professional portraits thanks to the fine camera configuration and AI-enhanced image processing functions. The Find X5 Lite allows you to capture DSLR-like portraits using features such as Portrait Mode, Bokeh Flare Portrait Video and more. This device is available in the colors Starry Black and Startrails Blue.
