Can your iPhone or iPad install the biggest update of 2025? That is the question. Apple has officially announced iOS 26 and iPados 26. We therefore know which devices will support the new software. To create more clarity in the naming, Apple immediately makes the leap to iOS 26, iPados 26, MacOS 26, Watchos 26, TVOS 26 and Visionos 26. The number stands for the year in which the software update plays an important role, which means that it is immediately clear to everyone which year the installed software update belongs.
