iPhones in 2026
The year is almost over! In 2025 we saw no fewer than five new iPhones, as Apple released the iPhone 16e, iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max and the iPhone Air. 1. iPhone 17e
We don’t have to wait long for the next iPhone, because Apple will release the iPhone 17e in early 2026. The successor to the iPhone 16e will have a more modern design and reportedly runs on the A19 chip. So you will soon get Apple’s latest chip for a much lower price. 2. iPhone 18 Pro
More iPhones will follow in September, including the iPhone 18 Pro. The phone is equipped with the A20 Pro chip, has an adjustable aperture and has a 6.3-inch screen with a smaller Dynamic Island. According to rumors, Apple is also adjusting the design of the iPhone 18 Pro so that the back of the housing is more of a single piece. Apple brings even more of these changes to the iPhone 18 Pro:
3. iPhone 18 Pro Max
In addition to the iPhone 18 Pro, the iPhone 18 Pro Max will also be released in September. The phone will have a 6.9-inch screen and will probably have the same new functions as the iPhone 18 Pro. This means that the iPhone 18 Pro Max also runs on the A20 Pro chip, has a smaller Dynamic Island and is equipped with more advanced camera functions. 4. iPhone Fold
The most important and interesting iPhone of 2026 will reportedly be the iPhone Fold. Apple has been working on the foldable smartphone for years, which we may finally see next year. The foldable device has a 5.5-inch screen on the outside, and a 7.8-inch screen on the inside. More about the iPhones of 2026
Expectations for 2026 are high, especially with the possible arrival of the iPhone Fold. It will be an exciting year for Apple, but one iPhone is rumored to be missing in 2026. Apple plans not to release the iPhone 18 until 2027, at the same time as the iPhone 18e. So there will be no basic model of the iPhone 18 series released in 2026, instead only the iPhone 18 Pro and the iPhone 18 Pro Max will be released.
In addition to the iPhone 18, the iPhone Air 2 will also have to wait a while.
