With the OLED+937 flagship and the Philips OLED+907, Philips TV presents 2 new OLED+ models and the new Mini-LED set PML9507 from the Philips 2022 Ambilight TV series.

TP Vision is a licensee of Philips TV & Sound brands and announces the Philips OLED+937 flagship and the Philips OLED+907, both co-developed with Bowers & Wilkins, and the new Mini-LED set Philips PML9507. All three sets feature a modified version of the Android 11 TV operating system; Philips TV continues to support all major HDR formats.

Philips OLED+937
Philips, of course, has a great reputation in the field of TVs. With the new models, Philips TV keeps that name high: the 65-inch OLED+937 already won the Home Theater TV Award at the 2022 EISA Awards. This TV will soon be available in 65 inch and 77 inch format. (text continues below the image)

Philips OLED937 1

design
The beautiful European-developed design of the OLED+937 includes the new OLED EX panel with a thinner bezel for a nice transition to the minimal metal frame of the set, and a better connection to the Ambilight halo.
The speaker enclosure is still integrated as part of the TV stand and now features Kvadrat Audiomix cloth on both the top and front, with specially perforated satin metal speaker grilles at each end.
A new remote includes motion-controlled backlighting, a premium silver finish and further extends the luxurious feel through a Muirhead leather-wrapped back.

AI and HDR
It is an enhanced version of Philips’ powerful AI Dual Engine processing and is displayed through the latest OLED EX panel. Thanks to its special heat synchronization, the set offers an impressive light output of 1300 nits.wIn addition to the special AI functions, the 2022 version of the P5 AI Intelligent Dual Engine image processing now includes an advanced HDR function that optimizes HDR performance by displaying content frame by frame, instead of taking an average per scene.

Sound
The Bowers & Wilkins sound system has also been improved, featuring dedicated left and right-facing drivers for the first time to create a true 5.1.2 specification with an increased output power of 95 watts to ensure room-filling and accurate sound.

LED and Ambilight
The OLED+937 is also one of the first sets with Philips Ambilight Next Generation technology. Instead of dividing the rear-mounted LEDs into groups, the technology now allows individual control of each LED for a wider range of colors and a more accurate match to the image on the screen.
A new Aurora Screen Fill feature combines a gallery of preloaded images and videos displayed together with Ambilight to create a beautiful multimedia art show in the background of your living room.

gaming
The OLED+937 offers an excellent gaming experience with G-sync and Free-sync Premium compatibility. In addition, the dedicated on-screen game settings bar plus a new VRR Shadow Enhancer feature are designed to optimize game performance for the panel’s refresh rate.

OLED+907
The new OLED+907 follows and greatly improves on the original OLED+903 model by integrating a Bowers & Wilkins sound system into the overall silhouette of the set. The Philips OLED+907 will be available in 48-inch, 55-inch and 65-inch sizes. (text continues below the image)

Philips OLED907 1

design
The European-designed design includes a centrally mounted minimalist flat metal swivel stand, finished in satin chrome. At the same time, the discreet sound enclosure runs the full width of the bottom of the set, which is finished with Kvadrat Audiomix cloth.
The minimalist metal frame of the set has a closer connection with the image on the screen and the Ambilight experience thanks to the narrower screen bezel of the new OLED EX panel.

Image quality
The image quality is delivered by a combination of the powerful 6th generation P5 AI processing with the Royal version of the latest OLED EX panel, including integrated heat sink, with a peak light output of 1300 Nits on the 55inch and 65inch sets. The immersive three-sided system offers Ambilight Next Generation performance and the new Aurora function.

Sound quality
Sound quality should be very good due to the 3.1, 80W Bowers & Wilkins sound system, with six front-mounted drivers blasting directly at the listener in a dedicated left, center, right (LCR) arrangement. This provides an extra wide soundstage with crystal clear dialogue. Deep, accurate bass is delivered by a large rear-mounted subwoofer supported by four passive radiators.

gaming
Featuring the Philips TV game settings bar, the OLED+907 is ideal for gaming, with both Freesync Premium and G-Sync compatibility and full resolution 4K 120VRR display via monitor mode.

PML9507 Mini LED Kit
In addition to new OLED TVs, Philips TV also offers a new mini-LED set with the PML9507 and a 55-inch version is also added to the 65-inch and 75-inch models.

Philips PML9507 1

design
The premium European design of the set includes a gun-metal finish, a metal frame with a narrow strip along the bottom edge of the set that reduces to a minimal bezel on the other three edges of the screen. Dark anthracite anodized brush-cut metal sticks complete the design. In addition, the PML9507 comes with a sophisticated and sleek motion-activated silver remote with the luxurious Muirhead leather back.

Image quality
The image quality should be good with the addition of the Philips 6th generation P5 AI processing and high-quality 120 Hz VA panels with an impressive peak light output of 1500 nits. The viewing experience is delivered via a four-sided version of the new Ambilight Next Generation system, plus the addition of the new Aurora functionality to continue an immersive multimedia show in the room after watching TV.

Sound quality
The sound quality should come from an integrated 2.1, 70W system with two pairs of down-firing tweeters and two mid-range drivers and a separate, triple ring subwoofer and dual passive radiators mounted in their own housings at the rear of the set . The PML9507 also has the flexibility to be used as a dedicated center channel in an expanded sound system using compatible Play-Fi connected satellite speakers – such as the new Philips Fidelio FS1 – to widen the soundstage while keeping dialogue locked to the on-screen characters. .

gaming
The PML9507 is certainly suitable for gaming and features Philips TV’s game settings bar, Freesync Premium compatibility and 4K 120VRR full resolution display via the TV’s monitor mode.
