In 2022, Apple marketed the Mac Studio, a compact desktop computer with powerful performance thanks to Apple Silicon. In 2023 it was equipped with the M2 series and now the professional Mac Studio will get an upgrade with the new M3 Ultra processor.
Mac Studio positions itself between the Mac Mini and Mac Pro and is perfect for professionals. The studio has the looks of a large Mac mini with extra gates and space. Such a beautiful new Mac, of course, also includes a professional screen; The Apple Studio Display.
Compact design for Mac Studio
The design of the Mac Studio has remained unchanged and is still reminiscent of a large Mac Mini. The housing is made of aluminum in the color silver and there is a large Apple logo on top.
The ventilation holes are processed at the back and at the bottom in the entire edge of the Mac. The studio has a size of 19.7 by 19.7 cm and has a height of 9.5 cm.
Connections for Pros
As with the Mac Pro and MacBook Pro, Apple has equipped the Mac Studio with extra connections and ports. The studio on the back has four Thunderbolt 4 USB-C ports, Ethernet port, two USB-A ports, an HDMI connection as standard. At the front a slot for SDXC card and you will find two UBC-C ports. If you buy a Mac Studio with M4-Uultra, these two USB-C ports are Thunderbolt 4.
Furthermore, the new Mac has support for WiFi 6th (802.11ax) and Bluetooth 5.3. The mini comes with a 10-gigabit Ethernet port as standard.
Powerful performance thanks to Apple Silicon
It is of course no surprise that the Mac Studio uses an Apple Silicon Processor. The studio contains an M4 Max processor that was already unveiled earlier this year, but for Extra Power you can also choose the new M3 Ultra chip, below the details:

Apple Studio Display
Such a beautiful new Mac, of course, also includes a professional screen. Together with the Mac Studio, Apple also finished an external screen in 2022 with the name: Apple Studio Display. Unfortunately, Apple has the studio display not Renewed.
This external screen has a size of 27-inch and resembles the 24-inch iMac, but without a wide bottom. The display has thin black screen edges and is equipped with normal glass as standard. Just like with the Pro Display XDR, you can provide the studio display with glass with nanotexture.
The new screen contains a traditional 5K-Retina display with a resolution of 5120 x 2880 and a brightness of max. 600 nits. The quality can be compared with the screen of the current 27-inch iMac. The studio display has True Tone and wide color reproduction (P3) with 1 billion colors.
You can only tilt the Apple Studio Display by default and not adjust it in height. You can, however, configure the studio with a tiltable and height -adjustable position or VESA suspension system.
The Studio Display is equipped with a powerful A13 chip, an ultra-wide angle 12 MP camera with Center Stage, 3 microphones and 6 speakers with support for spatial audio.
Finally, the external screen contains four USB-C ports, one of which is Thunderbolt 3 to connect Macs and accessories, the screen can be provided with electricity via a charging port.

The studio comes standard with an Apple M4 MAX chip with 32 GB RAM memory and 512 GB SSD, of course you can personalize the Mac yourself and expand it to your own wishes.
