We can’t live without our iPhone. Even at night we use our smartphone when we should actually leave it to sleep better because of blue light. Fortunately, there are ways to get a good night’s sleep.
Blue light is considered one of the biggest problems with falling asleep. That light comes from screens such as a television or an iPhone. Of course we use these devices every day and so it is also difficult to escape. Fortunately, there are tricks to avoid the effect as much as possible.
Get rid of blue light on your iPhone and sleep better
There are of course special glasses on the market that block blue light, but fortunately there are also other options that are simply free. We give you the ideal options.
Science is divided on the effect of blue light on sleep. While some experts say to avoid it as soon as the sun goes down, others say it’s enough to do so just an hour before bed.
Your iPhone in black and white
Perhaps the easiest way to block blue light is to set your iPhone to black and white at night. As a result, only shades of gray are visible.
You do this via the following steps: Settings>Accessibility>Display and text size>Color filters. Check the option and select Grayscale. Your screen is now black and white.

Block Blue light to sleep better
You can of course also choose to block blue lights, but this will have a significant impact on the colors you see on your iPhone. For this you take the same steps as with the previous option. You only choose Color tint.
If you slide the hue and intensity all the way to the right, the color of your iPhone screen will turn red. As a result, you have no blue light, although we can of course imagine that a red screen is also quite intense.
Night mode
The last option is perhaps the most famous, although it does not block all blue light. Of course you can also choose to choose the night mode. This makes the image warmer, making it less intense for your eyes. That’s better than just a picture before sleeping.
To do this, go to Settings>Screen & brightness. There you can choose exactly how you want to enable night mode. This can be done manually or by your iPhone itself. For example, you can choose True Tone that automatically adapts to the environment. You can also put dark mode on your screen. This way you can choose when you want to use it. You can see that function below.
