Processor Samsung Galaxy A53 is disappointing according to benchmark test

Information about the processor and working memory of the Samsung Galaxy A53 has been leaked. From a Geekbench score, we can conclude that the processor has the ARM Mali G68 GPU, a graphics card that is already two generations old. A small disappointment for the gamers among us.

New processor

In geekbench we also see that the Samsung Galaxy A53 will have a new Exynos processor from Samsung, the Exynos 1200. An octa-core processor with two CPU cores that run at a clock speed of 2.4 Ghz and six cores that have a clock speed of 2.0 ghz. The processor therefore uses the ‘big.Little’ principle of ARM. The phone runs on the six slower, but also more economical, 2.0Ghz cores for normal tasks and on the two faster 2.4Ghz cores for heavy tasks. It is not yet known which ARM processors are used for this. The Galaxy A53 should also have 6 GB of RAM. It is not yet known how much storage capacity the phone will have. In all likelihood, this would be 128 GB of storage.

As mentioned in the intro, the GPU of the device is an older variant, which means that graphics-heavy games will not run very smoothly. The possible improvement for the graphic performance in Samsung smartphones is therefore not yet applied in this device.

5G and smooth display

The Samsung Galaxy A53 is rumored to have 5G as standard. So we probably won’t get a separate 4G and 5G edition. The display of the Galaxy A53 would again be a 6.5-inch variant with FullHD + resolution. In addition, the device will have a 120 Hz screen. The battery of the device should be larger than the 4500 mAh battery of the Samsung Galaxy A52 with 4860 mAh.
