My question is now: where the switch concerning the luster is turned on, there is a dimmer (turns) installed with which you can reduce the light intensity
I know that energy saving lamps cannot be dimmed and that is why I wonder if this dimmer if I do not use it, but since it is incorporated in the switch, it can prevent the proper functioning of the luster, i.e. of the energy saving lamps.

Hello,
Since most dimmers contain a two-way switch, it is possible to use the energy-saving lamp if the dim button is set to maximum. If the dim button is not set to max., your energy-saving lamp will not break, but may flicker or not work.
However, there are energy-saving lamps that are suitable for connection to a dimmer. However, these are relatively expensive (25 euros) and difficult to find.
Personally, I would recommend replacing the dimmer with a normal switch … then there will certainly be no problems … and you can use that dimmer in a different place (switch and dimmer location)
