Review Asus Zenbook 14 OLED notebook

In addition to Vivobooks, Asus releases Zenbooks that are known for their elegant design, powerful performance and portability. The Zenbook 14 OLED is compact (31.2 x 22 cm) with a thickness of 14.9 mm and a weight of only 1.2 kg. The construction is sturdy (MIL-STD 810H) made of dark blue aluminum. The slightly glossy 14-inch OLED screen with Gorilla Glass has 2880 x 1800 pixels, 60 / 120 Hz refresh rate and 0.2 ms response time. The maximum measured brightness is 420 nits for SDR and 600 for HDR and the color coverage is excellent with 100% sRGB and 99.9% DCI-P3.

In terms of processor, it has an Intel Core Ultra7 155H with AI Boost NPU, RAM is 16GB DDR5 and a 1TB PCIe4 SSD is available for data storage. The ports are USB-A/5Gbps, 2x USB-C Thunderbolt4, HDMI 2.1 and a 3.5mm audio jack, wireless works via Wi-Fi 6E and BT 5.3. The 1080p IR webcam is Windows Hello compatible for super-fast login and provides an excellent image. The battery measures 75 Wh (more than 15 hours) and is charged via an included 65-watt USB-C charger. Keyboard and sound are fine and in terms of controls, Windows 11 Home 23H2 is installed with MyASUS, ScreenXpert and GlidX as additional tools.
