The AUtomate app creates routines, which can consist of different activities. Then you let the phone perform the different routines.

Do you often perform the same tasks? With Automate you can have common tasks performed automatically. You create routines, which can consist of different activities. You then let the phone perform the various routines.

The app uses flowcharts. You can draw these yourself and consist of blocks that are interconnected. You also indicate the dependencies between the various subtasks. You can have the tasks return at set times during the day, but also, for example, have them performed based on events from an agenda. There are also other variables on which you can base the events, for example the battery level of the phone, whether or not Bluetooth devices are connected and specific apps that are open.

To get the most out of the app, some learning time is required. The number of variables is large, allowing you to set up more complex routines. You can have the routines – which you have invested a lot of time in over time – automatically copied to Google Drive. In case of emergency you can then restore the routines.
The community is interesting, in which other users share their routines and you can go for ready-made routines, but also for much-needed inspiration. Moreover, the routines work with a rating system.
