Review Capture: digital notepad

A smart idea, a number of tasks, a reminder for yourself: there are countless situations for which you can make good use of a digital notepad. Of course, there are already many of them, in all shapes and sizes. Yet Capture still sees room for improvement. This app allows you to quickly take notes as soon as they pop into your head.

The app tries to prevent a ‘silo’ and offers you the option to share the notes with other apps. This way you can quickly export your ideas to, for example, your standard To Do app or an agenda. The creator also uses some intelligence and reviews your notes as you write. This way, data is automatically recognized, as are web addresses. For example, if you note that you have to deliver a postal package before 6 p.m., this will automatically be included in the agenda in the event of a possible export. The notes can be accessed through the app itself, but you can also use widgets instead so you can quickly see them from your home screen.

The app is available for iOS, but also for those using MacOS. A free version is available: this allows you to record a maximum of 20 so-called ‘captures’. For a full experience you pay approximately 6 euros per year.
