How busy are you with artificial intelligence (AI)? Microsoft is doing everything it can to make AI a success and is doing so in the form of Copilot. So you have been able to use functionality via Microsoft’s Edge browser and via the web for some time now, but more and more are also coming native apps available. For example, Copilot is also available for Apple devices, so you can use its intelligence on iPhone and iPad.
The operation is simple and no different from comparable AI solutions. You can ask Copilot all kinds of questions. In addition, you can ask the assistant for tasks, for example writing a letter. In addition, you can provide instructions for generating an image. Under the hood, Copilot uses OpenAI models, GPT-4 and DALL-E 3. If you want to use more functions, you can expand the possibilities with plug-ins. Speaking of the possibilities: to use all the functionality, you as a consumer need a Microsoft account.
You can use the app on an iPhone and an iPad. The new Apple Vision is also supported by Copilot, although its operation in practice is not yet clear. Microsoft has also been offering Copilot Pro for some time now. You pay around 20 euros per month for this, after which you get access to additional functions. For example, you get priority when using GPT-4 and GPT-4 Turbo, and you can use Copilot in the Microsoft 365 apps.
