A password manager should not be missing in a healthy and safe digital life. Dashlane has been around for a while. The program is available for a variety of platforms, so that you have access to the login details via various devices.
The Dashlane app stands out for a tight and tidy user environment. In addition to simply registering your passwords, the app can also give advice on the current set of registration data. This way you can see how strong the passwords are, but also how often you have used it elsewhere and whether the passwords (in the past) have been leaked online. You can then take immediate action yourself, for example by changing the data.
The app works on the basis of a subscription model, but the makers have also released a free variant for personal use. However, it does have a number of limitations: you can only use the app on one device and you can save a maximum of 25 passwords with it. In practice, you will soon need a paid subscription. An individual subscription will cost you approximately € 4.50 per month and gives access to the more advanced functions, such as a function that keeps track of or your data on the Dark Web have turned up. Furthermore, the paid variant has no limit in the field of number of devices and passwords.
