Are you abroad and are you caught up in an emergency?
With EmSafe you have quick access to the contact details of emergency services. The app supports about 230 regions at the time of writing. According to the makers, any adjustments are implemented quickly, so that the information is and remains as accurate as possible.
In the main screen you will find three prominent buttons with which you can quickly find the police, fire brigade and ambulance. Tap a button to find out the contact and – sometimes more importantly – location information. The option is also useful Nearby: Allows you to search for emergency services (such as a hospital) in the area. Furthermore, the app offers built-in tips for performing CPR.
The makers have also worked on a variant for the Apple Watch, which presents the same information in a compact format. EmSafe data is embedded locally in the app, so you are not dependent on an active internet connection. Not a superfluous luxury abroad, where connectivity is not self-evident. It is a pity that the makers do not yet offer an Android variant, but that may come in the future.
