New apps can also come in handy during more serious (office) work. A good example of this is Feeting.

Review Feeting: ongoing meetings

With Feeting, the makers try to spice up office work by encouraging you to no longer make changes while sitting, but while you are moving. They like to call it themselves walking meeting platform and the makers believe that you can meet up to 30% more efficiently while walking.

The app keeps track of how much you move during the meetings. For example, the number of kilometers walked is recorded, as well as the number of steps and minutes that you have spent on this. You invite people via Microsoft Outlook or Google Calendar. During the actual meeting, the discussions are recorded and each participant receives the audio file with the meeting afterwards. The app also keeps aggregated statistics. For example, the steps can be added together and an overview of the combined distance is shown.

You can use the app for free. That version has a limit of 40 minutes per meeting. If you want longer meetings, you can purchase a paid subscription for just under 50 euros per year. Interesting is the possibility to make a written text of the spoken meeting, but this functionality is currently limited to English meetings.
