The Raspberry Pi 400 is a small computer built into a keyboard.

raspberry pi 400 2The first thing you notice when you unpack the Raspberry Pi 400 kit box is the solid build quality with a nice touch keyboard. Also included are power supply, HDMI cable and even a (Raspberry Pi) mouse. Downside: the cable to the mouse could have been a bit longer. For those who want to get started right away: a 16GB SD card is included, on which Raspberry OS is already preinstalled. A complete guide The official Raspberry beginners guide is also included. A solution if you take the first steps on the Raspberry Pi level, assuming you are proficient in the (technical) English language.

The system works pleasantly and intuitively and is built around a Raspberry 4 with 4GB of RAM; larger or smaller memory configurations are not (yet) available. Although the housing is spacious enough, unfortunately there are not two full HDMI connections, but two micro HDMI connections. There is quite a bit of voltage on the micro HDMI ports when you connect an HDMI adapter plug or cable. You also hand in one USB 2.0 port compared to the normal Pi 4. Not an insurmountable objection, after all, you can connect a USB hub to boost the number of ports.

It is clear that this version appeals to a different target group than the hardcore wrenchers: the desktop users will feel the same.
