The WQ930B is the smaller brother of the W990B 656W/11.1.4Ch soundbar and is therefore € 500 cheaper.

The kit consists of a long soundbar (111x12x5cm), a large woofer (40x40x21cm) and two small (13x14x21cm) speakers for the rear wall, all intended for larger TVs.
The links with the woofer and rear speakers are wireless, there is also SPDIF for direct linking to a TV, an HDMI eARC and an HDMI for linking to a TV or other device. WiFi connection is possible via Google Cast, AirPlay2, Spotify Connect and bluetooth from phone or tablet. In addition to a control panel on the soundbar and the supplied remote control, it can also be operated via the Samsung SmartThings app; links are also possible with Alexa and Google Assistant.
There is wide support for video and sound formats and a lot of optimization for the sound, including room correction, speech optimization, mutual balance, night mode and equalizer.
The listening test makes a deep impression: spoken word is reproduced clearly and without distortion and delay and Dolby Surround does its job well. In the Dolby Atmos surround tests, the set comes into its own and the full dynamics of the system are heard, filling the entire room.
The set comes in black including mounting material for wall mounting and an HDMI cable. All in all, a powerful, high-quality Dolby Atmos surround set for just under €1,000.
