If you don’t want a large black area in your living room, then the Samsung The Frame is definitely recommended. Read here why and what else it offers.

Introduction
As the market leader, Samsung offers many different TVs, but The Frame certainly stands out. Almost all TVs that are turned off produce an ugly black surface. With The Frame, on the other hand, you can display a work of art or a photo on your screen. The artistic whole is completed with a frame.
Performance
The Frame is available in 43, 50, 55, 65, 75 and 85 inches, just like with Sony, we test the 65-inch model. Although there are two feet in the box, almost everyone will opt for the wall bracket. That and the 2.5cm thin one AirSlim –design ensures that it hangs nicely and fairly tightly against the wall. This is also possible because you are not bothered by cables protruding from the back. There is only one thin cable for power and data to the handy One Connect Box to which you connect everything else. And that’s easy thanks to 4x HDMI (including 1x 2.1 with 40Gbps for gamers and 1x ARC/eARC). As mentioned, there is also a frame around the TV; This 1.2 cm wide edge is magnetic and easy to remove to place a new one: in terms of frames you have quite a choice to adapt it to your interior.
Image
This QLED TV has a Quantum Processor 4K, a VA panel and quantum dots for the backlight. In addition, it has an image refresh of 100 Hz, a resolution of 3840 x 2160 and Quantum HDR (including HDR10). All this provides an excellent image with nice bright colors and good contrast in the Filmmaker Mode and Film Mode, which I watch a lot. Unlike ‘normal’ TVs that have a glossy screen, The Frame has a matte screen (the Matte Display) with an anti-reflection layer. This must ensure that the reflections are minimal so that images from the Art Store come into its own; displaying that image from that enormous art collection is one of the most important reasons to buy this TV. Although a subscription (€ 44 per year) to the Art Store is required, I can recommend it. The choice is enormous and you have a new work of art hanging on the wall every day, including art from the Louvre. You can also display your own photos. Fortunately, the matte screen does not compromise the image and contrast.
Other
In terms of audio, the thin The Frame surprises and that is partly due to the support of Dolby Atmos. The remote control with rechargeable batteries that you can easily charge is also positive: there is a panel on the back that ‘accepts’ virtually any light source. The 4 selection buttons for streaming services are also very useful, although the Samsung TV Plus is unnecessary in my opinion and is unfortunately not programmable. Finally, all apps work fine.
Conclusion
The Frame is the solution if you do not want a large black surface in your room, but a beautiful work of art. In addition, this art TV provides an excellent image, highly recommended.
