With Ring Alarm you have many solutions at home to protect your home as well as possible, such as contact sensors and motion detectors. If one of the sensors has detected something, you will receive a notification. With the new Ring Alarm sensor for breaking glass, you get a notification if, for example, a window is smashed. The sensor intelligently distinguishes between breaking glass and jingling keys or noise from plates and cutlery, so that you only get the notifications that matter. A Ring alarm is required for this Ring Alarm glass breaking sensor and is available separately.
Ring Breaking Glass Alarm Sensor
The Ring Alarm breaking glass sensor uses AI technology and can detect the sound of breaking glass up to more than 7.5 meters. You will then immediately receive a notification via the Ring app, so that you can take action. You can also set that when the sensor detects something, the siren (and possibly the separately available outdoor siren) of Ring Alarm also sounds in the Home or Away positions.
You can easily get the breaking glass sensor up and running within minutes by hanging it on your wall, ceiling, or furniture near glass doors and windows. Then you set it up via the Ring app, so that it is linked to your alarm system. You will immediately receive a notification if you hear the sound of breaking glass.
