Runtastic is one of the most popular sports apps in the App Store. Now the makers also want to let you get started with eating healthily via the new Runtasty app.

You may know Runtastic from the eponymous running app, but that is not the only thing that makes this company. There are a whole bunch of Runtastic apps in the App Store. For sit-ups, push-ups, cycling and even one to train your butt. Now there is also a nice recipe app with useful videos. Because you know what they say: Losing weight happens in the kitchen, not the gym.
You can scroll through recipes in the app or choose a category, such as meat, vegetarian, sugar-free or easy. The recipes clearly indicate how long it takes to make, what you need exactly, what you have to do and of course also very important: what the nutritional values are. For added clarity, each recipe has its own video. They were filmed smoothly, so that you get a good impression of what to do in a short time.
At the moment there are not that many recipes in the app yet. You can choose from just over forty dishes. However, the makers say they are constantly adding new content. This is also necessary, because, for example, in the sugar-free category, you can now only find some pancakes and smoothies. An advantage of Runtasty compared to other recipe apps is that there are many healthy recipes to be found. And if you have trouble with basic operations during cooking, there are instructional videos for, for example, cutting onions or baking the perfect steak.
