Samsung comes with a QLED TV of no less than 98 inches or almost 2.5 meters. Read here what else the 98-inch QLED Q80C TV has.

Big, bigger, biggest… That’s what they must have thought at Samsung when they started working on a TV with a diagonal of almost 2.5 meters. For seventeen years in a row, Samsung has been the global market leader in televisions [1] and announces its new 98-inch QLED Q80C TV in the Benelux [2]. According to Samsung man Tonnie van Schijndel, Samsung notices: “consumers are increasingly in need of larger screens.”

QLED Q80C design and sound
The very thin SuperSlim design (48.4 mm) of the Q80C is framed by a clean, thin bezel. Despite the thin design of the TV, the sound is of high quality. Thanks to the built-in Dolby Atmos, you can enjoy your favorite programs with 3D cinema sound. Samsung’s OTS (Object Tracking Sound) Lite ensures that you really feel the action because the sound moves with the action on the screen. Q-Symphony synchronizes the TV and Soundbar in the right harmony for the beautiful 360-degree sound.

Image and settings
The 4K Neural Quantum Processor uses AI Upscaling technology to optimize depth and sharpness for the big screen. In combination with Quantum HDR + technology, this ensures beautiful black levels and the right brightness, so that you can see every detail razor sharp. Thanks to the 100% color volume [3] Quantum Dot lets you enjoy vibrant, authentic colors even during the brightest scenes, validated by PANTONE. If you want to lose yourself in your favorite content for hours on end, you can reduce eye strain by turning on EyeComfort mode. This is an intelligent picture setting that automatically adjusts the brightness and hue of the screen based on a built-in light sensor and information about sunset and sunrise. When you watch TV at night, EyeComfort reduces the amount of blue light, making the picture warmer and more comfortable on the eyes.

Samsung Smart Hub
All 2023 Samsung TVs feature Samsung Smart Hub, an intuitive user interface that makes all your entertainment accessible from one place. Gamers can access the Xbox Cloud Gaming app, a cloud-based app featuring games from the world’s largest developers, such as Fortnite, Forza, and Minecraft Legends. Games run very smoothly (4K@120Hz) with Motion Xcelrator Turbo+ of the Q80C. You can also play cloud games like a pro thanks to FreeSync Premium Pro that delivers HDR gaming with low latency and without stutter.

Price and availability
The 98-inch QLED Q80C has a suggested retail price of €7,999 and will be available from July 1 [4]. The TV is temporarily offered with a Samsung Dolby Atmos Soundbar (HW-Q930C).
