Samsung Galaxy A33 5G: first renders show missing audio jack

The first renders of Samsung Galaxy A33 5G are on the street. It is a cheaper midrange phone that this time comes with a 5G modem as standard. The device has a recognizable design, but that is not counting the 3.5 mm audio jack.

Samsung Galaxy A33 5G

Samsung will come with a new series of Galaxy A devices next year. They are middle-class and budget devices that appeal to a very broad target group of users. The famous rumor spreader OnLeaks now has the first renders of the Galaxy A33 5G, which is the successor to both the Galaxy A32 and the A32 5G. An LTE model appeared last year, but this time Samsung is resolutely opting for 5G.

Whatever the South Korean brand chooses, is for a design that looks familiar. The rear has a camera island with four lenses that runs neatly into the housing. The screen has received a change, because the water drop notch makes way for a U-shaped notch. Furthermore, the panel really gets a quality upgrade: the 6.5-inch LCD screen becomes a 6.4-inch Full HD AMOLED.

Other than that, all the phone’s physical features seem to match its predecessor, except for the 3.5mm audio jack. Earlier reports already talked about the disappearance of the audio port on Galaxy A phones and that was also visible in renders of the upcoming Galaxy A53 that appeared last week.
