Many Android smartphone users are eagerly awaiting the latest Samsung Galaxy S series smartphones. The event titled Samsung Unpacked will take place on February 1 at 7 p.m Share the epic where the new S23 smartphones are officially announced. Read here what we already know about all models of the Galaxy S23 and how to follow the event.

Design Galaxy S23
In terms of design, the three models of the Galaxy S23 series are more similar when it comes to the cameras. As with the S23 Ultra, the cameras of the S23 (Plus) are now loosely glued to the back of the devices. They will probably all get rounded corners, although photos of an angular S23 Ultra (as seen below) are circulating. This leaked photo probably shows the mainly light colors of the new S23:

Screen
The ‘regular’ S23 has a 6.1 inch screen with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, 120Hz refresh rate, 1500 nits and 395 ppi. The S23 Plus is of course slightly larger and has a screen of 6.6 inches, but the same number of pixels, 120Hz refresh rate and 1500 nits and with 393 slightly less ppi. The S23 Ultra excels with its 6.8 inch amoled screen with 1440 x 3088 pixels and 501 ppi (and 120Hz refresh rate).

Processor, memory and battery
The Galaxy S23, S23 Plus and S23 Ultra all have the fast Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, which makes sense for these premiums. In terms of storage, you get 8 GB of working memory (RAM) and 128 GB of storage memory with the S23 (just like with the Galaxy S22). You can also opt for 256 GB of storage memory with this model, which is not bad when you consider that you cannot add a micro SD card to these S23s. The Samsung Galaxy S23 Plus has 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage memory as standard, while there is also a version with 512GB of storage. is available.
There are more flavors with the Galaxy S22 Ultra: for example, the cheapest variant has the same memory as the S23 Plus on board with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage space. Above that comes a model with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage memory and there may be a model with no less than 1 TB of storage.
If we look at the batteries of the S23 models, they are 3900 mAh, 4700 mAh and 5000 mAh respectively. All support 15w wireless charging and the S23 and S23 Plus can fast charge at 25 watts, while the S23 Ultra does at 45 watts.

Cameras
As usual, we can also expect a lot from the cameras, with a lot of focus on taking photos and videos in dark conditions. The S23 has 3 cameras on the back with a 50MP main camera, the selfie camera on the front has 10MP. The S23 Plus has a 64MP main camera and a 20MP front camera.
The fireworks should come from the Galaxy S23 Ultra, which may be equipped with a 200 megapixel camera, which we are also very curious about…

Android, 5G, NFC and dual sim
We can also report that the S23s are equipped with Android 13, 5G, NFC and dual SIM.

Price, availability and live streams
We haven’t gotten any pricing from Samsung yet, but they won’t be all that different from those of the S22 series. You can read these prices here on 1 February and also when the devices are available in the Netherlands and Belgium. The event will be streamed live on Samsung.nl, Samsung Newsroom and Samsung’s YouTube channel.
