The next Samsung phones that we are now looking forward to are the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4. Details have now surfaced about the latter and they concern the battery capacity of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4.

Now that Samsung’s flagships for 2022 have been announced, all eyes are on the upcoming foldable phones. The Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4 are expected to be announced sometime in August during Samsung’s next big launch. By now, details about the phones have surfaced and now we’ve got some more info to share about the smallest of the bunch, the Z Flip 4, courtesy of folks at Galaxy Club†
According to these rumors, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 will not make big steps in terms of battery capacity. Its predecessor, the Galaxy Z Flip 3, had a battery with a capacity of 3,300 mAh. The Z Flip 4 gets a battery capacity of about 3,400 mAh, a small upgrade of 100 mAh. In his review of the Galaxy Z Flip 3, editor Sebastien was able to say that the main reason not to buy this phone would be the battery. An upgrade of 100 mAh for the successor might then be disappointing.
A new chipset could make the Galaxy Z Flip 4 more energy-efficient and thus extend the battery life. The device is expected to get the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus, which is presumably a faster version of the existing Gen 1 processor.
Not two but three foldable phones
