Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4 available

With the introduction of the new generation of foldable smartphones Galaxy Z Flip4 and the Galaxy Z Fold4, Samsung is fully committed to these types of models. This also became clear during the presentation where PC-Active was present and where it was said that both devices have the most powerful processors and best cameras of the current models. The Galaxy Z Fold4 is thus Samsung’s most powerful smartphone to date and the first device to ship with Android 12L, a special version of Android made by Google for large screens, such as foldable devices. Galaxy Z Fold4 screens
If you open the two screens, the image is no less than 7.6 inches, or 19.3 cm. This OLED main display has 2176 x 1812 pixels with an aspect ratio of 21.6:18 and a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. The OLED cover screen is 6.2 inches large or 15.75 cm with an aspect ratio of 21.1:9 and 2316 x 904 pixels and an adaptive refresh rate of 48-120 Hz. When folded, the Fold4 measures 6.7 x 15.5 x 1.42 – 1.58 cm. The weight is 263 grams.
Incidentally, this Galaxy Z Fold4 is very similar to the previous model: the Fold4 is slightly wider and slightly less high. According to Samsung, popular social media apps such as Facebook are optimized for the larger screen, which should make using a pleasant experience.

Processor, memory and battery
Like the Flip4, the Fold4 is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 (4 nm octa-core) processor. It does have more working memory, namely 12 GB instead of 8 GB and there is also more storage memory available (thanks to the 1TB version: 256 GB, 512 GB and therefore 1 TB). The larger battery of 4400 mAh allows you to charge 25W fast and 10W wirelessly. load.

Cameras

The different camera modes, including the larger Zoom folder in Capture View Mode, the Dual Preview and the Rear Cam Selfie, give you more flexibility when shooting photos or videos. And with the larger pixel size, 23% brighter sensor and improved processing power, you should be able to capture clear(er) images at night.

Multitasking and taskbar
Multitasking is easier on the Z Fold4, so you can do more on the go. The new Taskbar offers a layout similar to that of the PC for easy access to your favorite and recent apps. Multitasking has become more intuitive, thanks to new swipes. You can instantly switch apps from full-screen to pop-up windows, or split your screen in half for more ways to multitask.
Google apps, such as Chrome and Gmail, now support drag-and-drop, so users can quickly copy and paste links, photos, and more from one app to another. With Google Meet, you can connect with more people and engage in virtual co-activities, such as watching videos together on YouTube or playing games together during a video call.
Microsoft’s entire Office suite and Outlook also benefit from the foldable screen, allowing more information to be displayed on the screen and working with content faster. The multitasking experience is more complete with the S Pen functionality, which allows you to draw or take notes on the go. After use, store the S Pen in the streamlined storage of the Standing Cover with Pen case.

Sustainability
With Armor Aluminum frames, the hinge cover and the exclusive Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ on the Cover Screen and back glass, the Z Flip4 and Z Fold4 are the strongest foldable devices Samsung has ever made. The durability of the main screen has also been improved with an optimized layered structure, reducing damage from external impacts. Both the Z Flip4 and Z Fold4 are IPX8 water resistant, so you have less to worry about when it rains.

Colors
The Galaxy Z Flip4 is available in the familiar colors Bora Purple and Graphite and in the new colors Pink Gold and Blue. The expanded Galaxy Z Flip4 Bespoke Edition is now available in 28 countries worldwide and offers glass colors and frame options in 75 combinations, giving you complete control over the looks of your device. Samsung also offers Bespoke Upgrade Care for Galaxy Z Flip4 Bespoke Edition users so that they can change the color of their device whenever they want.

Price and availability
The Galaxy Z Fold4 and Standing Cover with Pen case are available in Graygreen, Beige and Phantom Black. This will be available for a suggested retail price of € 1799 (256 GB). The Galaxy Z Fold4 will be pre-ordered on August 10, and delivery will begin on August 11. Customers who pre-order the Galaxy Z Flip4 or Galaxy Z Fold4 will receive one year of free Samsung Care+ for protection against drops or cracks with Samsung expert support in 51 countries. In addition, the Galaxy Z Fold4 is available exclusively on Samsung.com in Burgundy color, with additional storage capacity of up to one terabyte.
