Save a chart in Excel as an image. Then you can easily send it with an email or process it in a Word document.
Save Excel Chart
Making graphs in Excel is useful because the program takes a lot of calculation work off your hands. If you need the graph in a Word document or as an illustration in an email, you can copy it as an image and then use it in other programs.
- Open Excel and click the chart you want to save.
- Click on the tab Start.
- Click on the arrow next to ‘Copy’.
- click on Copy as image.
- A window opens. The options ‘As on screen’ and ‘Image’ are automatically selected. If not, click on If on screen and Image.
- click on OK.
An image has been made of the graph, but it is not yet visible. Now paste the image in a desired place such as in a Word document or in an email. Do this via the program’s menu (for example, in Word, click on Start > To stick) or use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+V.
