Many people have set a profile picture for WhatsApp. Handy because then others immediately see who they are dealing with. It’s also nice to add a new image every now and then, for example if you have a nice photo of yourself on vacation.
There are two options: choose a photo that is already on the phone or take one on the spot with the camera. The first option is the most convenient, because then you choose a photo that already looks nice on you.

- Open whatsapp.
- Tap at the bottom right Institutions.
- Tap the selected photo or the icon of a doll.
- Tap on add photo or edit > edit.
- Tap on Choose photo.
- Tap on All pictures or one of the other folders.
- Tap the desired photo.
- In the circle is the part of the photo that will be shown in your profile. If necessary, drag the photo to create a different crop.
- Zoom in or out by moving your fingers together or apart.
- Tap on Choose.

- Tap on whatsapp.
- Tap the icon with the three dots.
- Tap on Institutions.
- Tap the selected photo or the icon of a doll.
- Tap the image of the camera.
- Tap on Gallery.
- Tap the folder that contains the photo.
- Tap the photo.
- If necessary, drag the photo to get a different crop.
- Zoom in or out by moving your fingers together or apart.
- Tap on Ready.
