The new iPad app Skoove can teach you to play the piano through quite a few lessons. Some of these lessons are free to try.
Skoove
Do you have a piano or keyboard at home, but have you never taken the time to learn to play the instrument? Then this is your chance. The new Skoove app replaces expensive piano teachers with more than 250 lessons. In each category you can try a few lessons for free, but to access the full range you will need to take out a monthly subscription.
The app can be used if you have never played the piano, but Skoove also offers options for advanced users. The lessons are very clear, with the notes on the screen and video images of hands playing the music on a piano. It’s nice that Skoove listens to how you play. This allows the app to give you tips on how to improve. Your progress is also tracked in this way. It is also nice that the app does not limit you to the fixed lessons, because you can improvise and make your own melodies.
Skoove is not cheap to use. Although you can test a number of lessons for free, the subscription costs 19.99 euros per month. Cheaper than a piano teacher, but only recommended if you are really serious about learning to play the piano. If you pay for three months in one go, it costs 39.99 euros. A year costs 119.99 euros. In addition to all lessons, as a paying user you also get the opportunity to ask questions to experts. In addition, new lessons are added every month. There are already a lot of well-known songs in the app that you can learn to play.
