The cube-shaped power strips from Allocacoc are compact and practical. Plugs never get in each other’s way. And the variant with remote control can be controlled remotely.
Plug cube
The company Allocacoc makes power strips in the shape of a cube. This makes them compact and the different plugs do not get in each other’s way. Because of the shape they all listen to the name power cube. That is ‘current cube’ in Dutch.
The power cube has three variants: the standard cube with five built-in sockets, a travel socket and a socket with remote control.
travel power strip
The PowerCube ReWirable USB is a handy power strip for on the go. This cube contains four built-in sockets and two USB connections. The cube has a special connection that fits different plugs so that the power strip can be connected anywhere in the world.
Remote control
Another handy cube is the PowerCube Remote. This power strip can be switched on or off by means of a remote control. So the TV with receiver or the computer can easily be turned off completely in this way while the cables are hidden.
Price and availability
The PowerCube ReWirable USB has a suggested retail price of 21.50 euros; the PowerCube Remote costs 25.95 euros. This and the standard cube can be ordered via Powercubeshop.nl.
