Sony launch on October 26: what mysterious Xperia phone will we see?

Sony will announce a new Xperia product on October 26. At this point, we have no idea what Sony might announce. Remarkably, the announcement goes through at 5:00 AM our time.

Sony announcement

Suddenly the fence of the dam is broken. Samsung is set to announce new Galaxy devices on October 20, after Google scheduled a Pixel event on October 19. Sony could not and did not want to be left behind and that is why the tech company will announce one or more new Xperia products on Tuesday, October 26. You will be able to follow the announcement at 05:00 our time via the Xperia channel on Youtube.

Sony teased the event on Twitter, but at this point there’s no clue as to what exactly to expect. Sony is not revealing anything in the teaser, no renders have been leaked and the brand has announced all the phones expected in 2022. We got the Xperia 1 III top-of-the-line device, the smaller high-end Xperia 5 III and the Xperia 10 III mid-range.

Xperia tablet?

That means that we will probably see a device from a completely new series. Without clues, it’s just speculation about the expected product, but we can’t help but make a wild guess.

Androidworld belongs to several manufacturers that since 2020 the demand for tablets among consumers has risen sharply. That’s why Nokia recently launched its T20 tablet and more devices will follow according to the brand. It therefore seems to us not inconceivable that Sony has worked behind the scenes on a new tablet. The last to be released by the brand was the Xperia Z4 Tablet. That was a premium tablet with a 10.1 inch screen.

As always, on October 26 you will be the first to read what Sony has announced on Androidworld. What do you expect from Sony and what would you like to see from the brand? Let us know in the comments at the bottom of this article.

– Thanks for information from Androidworld.
