Squash is a macOS app for editing images in bulk (large numbers). The app offers functions such as converting, reducing, compressing, water brands and removing metadata. In addition, the app also has filters and effects that can be applied.
With the squash app you can, for example, adjust the size of a series of photos with a few clicks and provide them with a watermark. The app is part of SetApp.

How does squash work?
Squash is equipped with a large number of functions that you can use to adjust a single or whole series of photos. You can drag the photos on which you want to make the adjustments directly in the app window.

Metadata adaptation: Remove personal location data from photos or edit other metadata.

Support for a large number of file formats
Squash works without problems with the file formats Heic, PSD, AI, SVG, JPG, PNG, TIFF, RAW, DNG and GIF.
These file formats can be converted by the app to the JPG, PNG, TIFF, Webp or the AVIF format. When exporting PNG files you have the option to compress them with different compression methods.
The app also offers the possibility to remove metadata from an image. The GPS location and camera model Data can be removed from the file.
