Start in Notes, finish in Pages for iPhone, iPad, and Mac

Since iOS 17, iPadOS 17 and macOS Sonoma, iPhone, iPad and Mac users have been able to complete notes in Pages. Start a note in the app of the same name and continue in the more advanced Pages applications.

This way you can start documents even faster and professionalize or expand them at a later time with additional options and possibilities. This way you get even more out of your notes. We explain exactly how to do this, but it’s actually super simple.

Start in Notes, finish in Pages

Make sure the Pages application is installed on your iPhone, iPad or Mac. Haven’t done this yet? Then you can use the application for free download from the App Store. Then open the app first before continuing with the steps below. You only need to do this when you first install the app.

  • Open the Notes app on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac
  • Start a new note or open an existing one
  • Tap Click the share button (square with up arrow)
  • Choose ‘Open in Pages’

You can then edit the note in the word processor and turn it into a document. For example, you can adjust the font, make images larger or smaller, and add videos. This way you turn a simple note into a document that deserves to be seen.
