The Zwitsal SummerTechDay, organized by HCC, was a great success. Despite the high temperatures on August 13, many children and their parents found their way to this fun and educational event in the NewTechPark on the former Zwitsal site in Apeldoorn.
It was already the second edition of this event, in which many volunteers from the interest groups HCC!3d, HCC!robotica, HCC!photovideo, HCC!programming, HCC!drones and HCC!apeldoorn contributed. Many parents with children came to the cool factory hall for a nice introduction to technology.

Under supervision you could learn how to control a drone in a cage, imagine yourself in a completely different world with VR glasses and learn how to program all kinds of fun things with Scratch. The ‘crafts room’ was also popular: here you could take apart notebooks and make and assemble a lot. You could also control a ball with a tablet that had to avoid obstacles. In other places there were 3D printers that you could learn about and you could even have a full body scan made of yourself

In short, it was a pleasant, educational and fun day for young and old. For an impression of the atmosphere, you can take a look at our YouTube channel (thanks to Bertus Video for the production). Or scan the QR code to go directly to the impression.
