T-Mobile will stop immediately and become Odido – you need to know this

Providers T-Mobile and Tele2 have announced that they will immediately continue together as Odido. This is what the new provider means for you.

T-mobile no longer exists

Do you have a subscription with T-mobile or Tele2 mobile? Then quite a bit will change from today, because the providers will immediately continue together under the name Odido. The new company plans to take a completely different approach to offering internet and television services. According to Odido, not only technology is central to this new way, but customer service is also extremely important.

According to the director of the new company, modern technology should be accessible to everyone. That is why Odido offers personal customer service, so that all customers can receive the appropriate help at any time. This should be the difference with other providers, where customer service often leads to annoyance. The subscriptions are also striking, because the data bundles are unlimited as standard with Odido.

New subscriptions at Odido

With the unlimited data bundles, Odido tries to put an end to all concerns about data limits. That is why you have unlimited data as standard with every subscription, unless you choose otherwise. This way you don’t have to pay more unnecessarily if you know that you only use a small amount of mobile data per month. For the standard unlimited subscriptions you pay the following monthly amount:

Subscription Monthly amount Internet speed
UnlimitedStart 27.50 euros per month Up to 10Mbit/second
Unlimited Basic 32.50 euros per month Up to 300Mbit/second
Unlimited Basic 37.50 euros per month Up to 600Mbit/second
Unlimited Premium 49.50 euros per month Up to 1Gbit/second
Together Unlimited Self-selected amount Up to 1Gbit/second

With the two more expensive subscriptions you also get access to a streaming service of your choice. The options at the moment are at least ViaPlay, Videoland, Deezer and Podimo. According to Odido, HBO Max and SkyShowtime will also be added later. With Samen Unlimited, the subscription that you can share with others, you do not get an extra streaming service.

Are you already a customer? This is what the new provider means for you

If you already have a subscription with T-Mobile or Tele2 mobile, you will not immediately notice a difference. Tele2 already used T-Mobile’s network, so nothing will change at Odido. According to the provider, as many as 99 percent of Dutch people have access to the 5G network, so you are not expected to notice anything from the merger.

It is not yet known what will happen at Odido with the current subscriptions of T-Mobile and Tele2. These subscriptions will continue to run at least for the time being, but may be converted into a subscription with Odido upon renewal. Good to know: Ben, Simpel and Tele2 Thuis will continue to exist. If you have a subscription with these providers, nothing will change.
