The 4 best iOS apps in the App Store from week 21 – 2020

The new week is just around the corner, but before that, let’s take a look back at the last seven days. The editors of iPhoned has rounded up the best iOS apps, games and updates from last week.

Last week’s 4 best iOS apps

The App Store is working overtime every week. New apps, updates for existing programs and games are added all the time. You probably don’t notice this much, because most of it is not worth downloading. iPhoned therefore separate the wheat from the chaff every Sunday. Here are this week’s best iOS apps, updates, and games.

1. Rumble Hockey

Rumble Hockey is the successor to Rumble Stars Football. Instead of football you play ice hockey this time, but it works just as easily. It may be reminiscent of Fifa. You do need a good reaction time, because the game keeps up the momentum.

The better you do, the more fields you unlock. You can play against opponents from all over the world, but it is also possible to challenge your friends to a game of ice hockey. There are also special tournaments to play every week.

2. If Found

If Found is not so much a game, but more of a graphic novel. It is a story about the young woman Kasio. In an attempt to erase her memories, she destroys her diary early in the game.

The story is set in the 1990s. Kasio returns to her home base in the west of Ireland. Once there, conflicts arise with her family, friends and she has to solve other unforeseen problems. The artful and dreamlike game takes you on the adventure.

3. Vikings II

Vikings II comes out four years after its predecessor. In this shooter game you will be attacked from the front by a horde of opponents, including krakens, trolls and dragons. It’s up to you to take them out as you continue your path.

The controls are very simple. Drag the screen down to move forward. Shooting and power-ups are automatic. With the fighting and daily launch of the app you earn coins, after which you can improve your weapons.

4. Towers of Everland

Apple Arcade is getting a new RPG in the form of Towers of Everland. The game is played from the first person perspective, and it is up to you to defeat enemies and progress further and further.

The game has a cartoonish style and plenty of weapons and other types of equipment to build your own character. This way you complete quests and you get a little better every time. That makes it an addictive and entertaining game and worth playing, especially if you’re already an Apple Arcade member.
