The 4 best iOS apps in the App Store from week 22 – 2019

The week is over and that means a fresh app overview is waiting for you! You should not miss out on these new apps, games and updates. The best iOS apps of week 22 can be found here.

The best iOS apps at a glance

The App Store is working overtime every week to process the endless stream of new apps and updates. However, you hardly notice this, because only a small part is worth installing. If your iPhone or iPad could use some new apps, you’ve come to the right place for the best iOS apps.

1.Twitter

Twitter users can now live stream with several people at the same time. The app adds the option to add up to three guests to a live video if those users request it. Viewers of the live stream will then not only see the initiator of the video, but also the maximum three other Twitter users.

However, it is also possible for additional participants to participate with audio only. To activate the feature, there is now a two-faced icon once you tap the app’s camera icon. Once you tap this, others can request to join the stream.

2. Jump grid

The puzzle game Jumpgrid will make your heart rate go up. On a grid, you have to pick up each node by jumping from node to node. Meanwhile, obstacles are rapidly approaching you. If they hit you, you’re out.

Fortunately, the puzzles only last a few seconds, although this doesn’t make it any easier. As soon as you make a mistake, you’ll be able to restart the level in no time. That’s how you fly through the game.

3. Google Maps

After a short test period, Google Maps has now officially added speed cameras and speed limits to the app. As soon as you plan a route in Google Maps, the app shows speed cameras along the road with small orange icons. If you have notifications on, the Google Assistant will also tell you that a speed camera is approaching the road.

You will now see the speed limit in the lower left corner of the screen. The two features will be rolled out gradually and will appear in the app on their own. So no updating is necessary.

4. Soundhound

Shazam competitor Soundhound has expanded its app with a new feature. From now on you can also search between millions of songs based on the lyrics. Are you no longer near where the unknown song is playing?

If you (partly) remember the lyrics, you can still find that one song. Simply enter a phrase or fragment or make a sound recording. Soundhound then presents you with all possible songs. In addition, in this new tab, the app shows an overview of the lyrics of popular songs around the world or by genre.
