It’s Sunday again and that means a fresh app overview is ready for you! We don’t think you should miss these new apps, games and updates. These are this week’s best iOS apps.
The 4 best iOS apps in a row
Every week the App Store works overtime to accommodate all new apps, updates and games. You probably notice this, because only a small part is worth installing. Can’t see the forest for all the trees? Then get inspired with this overview of iOS apps that are worth downloading.
1. Google Photos
Google Photos now also recognizes faces in the Netherlands, so that people can be grouped in Google’s photo app from now on. For this, Google makes a scan of the face and compares it with other faces in your camera roll.
For privacy reasons, Google only makes these photo albums available to the account owner. If you still have doubts about privacy, you can disable the function in the settings.
2. Spotify
Spotify is following Apple Music and now gives new subscribers a three-month trial subscription. This has tripled the entry period from one to three months.
This allows new listeners to get acquainted with the music service without obligation, although a subscription is automatically started after the third month. So test the music service for three months, but do not forget to cancel in time if it is not for you.
3. Plex
It’s taken a while, but the major 6.0 version of popular video app Plex is finally available. The app introduces a new design with a sidebar that you can now adjust to your own taste.
Handy, because you can, for example, make room for series and films and switch off the other categories if you don’t use them anyway. You can also adjust the order, which gives you faster access to the parts of the app that you actually use.
From now on you can also manage the users who have access to the app and what restrictions you may impose directly from the iOS app.
4. Gris
Our favorite game of the week is undoubtedly Gris. This beautiful platformer has a painterly look that comes into its own on the iPhone and iPad.
In the game, you control Gris, a girl who is lost and on her adventure learns to cope with the painful events of her past. That way you learn to look at the world in a different way, so that not only Gris but hopefully also you see the credits roll by with a good feeling. Recommended.
