The new week is just around the corner, but before that, let’s take a look back at the last seven days. The editors of iPhoned has rounded up the best iOS apps, games and updates from last week.
Last week’s 5 best iOS apps
The App Store is working overtime every week. New apps, updates for existing programs and games are added all the time. You probably don’t notice this much, because most of it is not worth downloading. iPhoned therefore separate the wheat from the chaff every Sunday. Here are this week’s best iOS apps, updates, and games.
1. JOI: Mindful Mood Tracker
Would you like to be more positive in life? Then JOI will help you with that. In the app, you keep track of your mood by tapping an emoji. Then you can write why you feel this way. The app also encourages you to check what was good about your day.

In this way you set yourself up to pay attention to the positive things during the day. It is also a way to write down your feelings very quickly and briefly, without having to keep a separate diary. You will see that over time you become a lot more positive.
2. Spotify
The iOS app of music service Spotify has been completely renewed. The app has a simpler design and is now a lot more user-friendly. For example, a shuffle play button has been added at the top of a playlist, so that you can play music in shuffle mode with a simple press of the button.

In addition, there are now action buttons at the top of a playlist. Everything you need is sorted in a handy list. For example, this allows you to quickly like or download a list for offline listening (for premium users).

3. Eri’s Forest
In Eri’s Forest you try to guard your forest as a forest protector. The wild animals of the forest are brainwashed and attack your trees. In this fairytale-like game you fight them, but on the tree.
This means that you also have to go up and move around the tree. But there are some catches: the tree leaks resin so that you slow down if you are hit. Your agility will be put to the test to save the forest.
4. RTRO – Camera by Moment
With the vintage-style video camera app RTRO, you can shoot a video of up to 60 seconds. This allows you to film short pieces with a nice retro filter. Ideal for social media: you can post it directly from the app to Instagram or TikTok, or save it to your Camera Roll.
Editing videos has never been easier: you press the record button, record something, and tap the same button to stop. Then you go to your next shot and repeat everything again. The individual clips are automatically placed one after the other. Unfortunately, the best features are behind a paywall.
