The 4 best iOS apps of week 35

The new week is just around the corner, but before that, let’s take a look back at the last seven days. The editors of iPhoned has rounded up the best iOS apps, games and updates from last week.

Last week’s 4 best iOS apps

The Apple App Store is working overtime every week. New apps, updates to existing applications and games appear all the time. You probably don’t notice this much, because most of the programs are not worth downloading. iPhoned therefore separate the wheat from the chaff every Sunday. Here are the best iOS apps, updates, and games from last week.

1. Krumit’s Tale

You are standing in front of an ordinary door in an ordinary street. But as soon as the door opens, an unusual story begins. A crazy shopkeeper named Krumit explains to you that you have to save the world. In Krumit’s Tale you defeat enemies through a card game.

You are in a post-apocalyptic world full of evil creatures. By playing the card game you defeat opponents and gain new skills. These will come in handy during your journey through the dungeons. If you’re a fan of Adventure Time (and its card game Card Wars), you’ll love Krumit’s Tale.

2. The Last Campfire

Attention Apple Arcade fans: another cool game has been added to the service this week. The Last Campfire is a good combination between an adventure game and puzzles. The cute appearance also does a lot of good, of course.

In the game, you make your way through the magical world, looking for a way back home. Along the way, you’ll encounter all sorts of magical creatures, some friendlier than others. By solving puzzles you overcome the obstacles that come your way.

3. Tom Clancy’s Elite Squad

Action and strategy are central to this shooter game, known from the console games of the same name. You are commander of a group of soldiers, the so-called Elite Squad. You can decide for yourself which heroes can belong to your Squad.

Together you will fight 5 against 5 in different locations. By making strategic choices, you lead your five heroes to victory. You choose from different arenas, which you can also find in the well-known games.

4. Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles

This classic is now available for iOS. In the beautifully designed platform game you can play against your friends online, or against players from all over the world. It doesn’t matter what device they play on.

In the game you go on an adventure in the fantasy world in search of the so-called ‘drops of myrrh’. Choose a tribe you belong to, each with its own unique talents, and continue your quest through the various dark dungeons. The game is free to play, but with in-app purchases, you’ll see a lot more.
