The new week is just around the corner, but before that, let’s take a look back at the last seven days. The editors of iPhoned has rounded up the best iOS apps, games and updates from last week.
Last week’s 5 best iOS apps
The App Store is working overtime every week. New apps, updates to existing programs and games are added all the time. You probably don’t notice this much, because most of it is not worth downloading. iPhoned therefore separate the wheat from the chaff every Sunday. Here are this week’s best iOS apps, updates, and games.
1. Noto
Do you want to start the year well organized with to-do lists? Or would you like to keep a diary, for example? Then Noto is for you. The app lets you write and edit texts quickly and easily. Let your creativity run wild.

Text can be displayed in bold, italic, or strikethrough, among other things. You can also make lists in a jiffy. While typing, you indicate whether it is a title, headline or ‘normal’ text. Furthermore, Noto has a dark mode and the app syncs with other Apple devices via iCloud.
2. Disposable
The disposable camera is back, but it’s digital. Disposable takes you back to the 1990s by turning your phone into a disposable camera. The makers go quite far with this. For example, you also have to wait for photos to be developed: this can take all night.

The interface looks like the back of a disposable camera. Through the small window you can see what the photo will look like. At the bottom left you see the so-called rolls of film that you have used per day. This app by Youtuber David B is extremely popular: it has already been downloaded more than a million times.
3. Shift Keyboard
A developer has come up with a solution to easily type messages on your Apple Watch. Shift Keyboard adds a full keyboard to your Watch. Because the Watch’s screen is so small, it doesn’t work optimally for very long messages, but it works surprisingly well for short messages.

Although it is possible to send messages via your Apple Watch by dictating a message with your voice, there are plenty of people who would rather not do so in public. This app is a welcome solution for that target group. Do you want to know more? Then read our complete Shift Keyboard app review.
4. The White Door
In this puzzle game, you play as Robert Hill, an amnesiac man trapped in an institution. Through various puzzles you try to find out who you are, where you are and how you can function well enough to leave the institution.
The app has a signature drawn style where you see an overview on the left and the perspective of Robert Hill on the right. The game starts in black and white. It’s up to you to bring color back into Robert’s life.
5. Klee: Spacetime Cleaners
If you fancy a simple game to kill time, you should give Klee: Spacetime Cleaners a try. The retro shooter game is somewhat like Kirby. You don’t have to try the game for the storyline, but the gameplay is remarkably entertaining.
In a level you bounce from blocks to the wall. Each character has a different way of shooting and the pace is quite high. While Klee starts at a manageable pace, the difficulty increases considerably in higher levels.
