The week is over and that means that a fresh app overview is waiting for you! As far as we are concerned, you should not miss these new apps, games and updates. You can find the best iOS apps from week 22 here.
The best iOS apps at a glance
The App Store works overtime every week to handle the never-ending stream of new apps and updates. However, you will hardly notice this, because only a fraction of it is worth installing. If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch can use some new apps, you’ve come to the right place.
1. Pinkpop 2017
Pinkpop is in full swing and that is why there is an app with all kinds of useful information. The organization behind the festival has collected some practical tips and you can learn more about the festival itself. The maps also come in handy, because the festival site and surrounding tents are by no means small. Pinkpop’s social networks are also well represented in the app, so you can see from the app what was most recently shared.

2. Adobe Scan
With the new Adobe Scan app, you can scan all your files with your iPhone and then convert them into a PDF file. The app works with documents, receipts, notes, images, business cards and much more. The app also has text recognition, which means they are searchable after scanning. One drawback: you need an Adobe account to use the app, which you can easily create.

3. The Robot Factory
In Apple’s newest free App of the Week, you put together your own robot screw by screw. You can choose from countless arms, legs, missiles and heavier guns. Space has been deliberately kept free to let your creativity run free. This way you can adjust the color of each part, and no limit is imposed on you. If you want to build a robot spider with two heads, you can do so in The Robot Factory.

4. Old Man’s Journey
Old Man’s Journey is relatively expensive and relatively short. With two hours you are through and you have no reason to play again. Still, Old Man’s Journey tops our list because the game is exceptionally beautiful. In the game you follow the journey of an old man who leaves his safe life behind. The man is too old to climb and clamber extensively, so you have to organize the environment so that he continues. The world is beautiful, but the story is also poignant and lingers long after those two hours.

5. Halide
If you are looking for a new photo app for your iPhone, Halide is worth checking out. This new app was created by an ex-Apple designer and has a simple interface, but a lot of professional features. For example, you can adjust the ISO value, shutter speed and white balance. Also useful is that you can save photos in the raw format, which is nice if you want to edit the images later in Photoshop, for example.
