The week is over and that means that a fresh app overview is waiting for you! As far as we are concerned, you should not miss these new apps, games and updates. You can find the best iOS apps from week 24 here.
The best iOS apps at a glance
The App Store works overtime every week to handle the never-ending stream of new apps and updates. You don’t notice that much, however, because only a fraction of it is worth installing. If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch can use some new apps, you’ve come to the right place.
1. Twitter
Twitter has a completely new design. This is immediately noticeable when you open the app, because all avatars are round instead of square and the font has been adjusted. All icons are also different. For example, the reply arrow is now a conversation bubble to be clearer for newcomers. In addition to the refreshed appearance, the renewed Twitter app offers some new functions. If you swipe to the right, or press your profile picture at the top left, a new menu will appear.

2. Framed 2
This week a successor to the iOS classic Framed was released. In Framed 2, which takes place remarkably enough for the first part, you again solve puzzles in the form of an animated comic strip. You start with separate pieces of a scene, which you then have to put in the right order for the story to unfold. That provides fun and challenging gameplay. Framed 2 is a standalone game, so you don’t need to have played the original to understand the story.

3. Headspace
The popular meditation app Headspace is getting a makeover. In addition to a new design, the update also makes the app a bit more flexible. For example, it is possible to do very short meditations, which is useful if you have little time, but still want to take a moment for yourself. In addition, you can now set a time limit for a meditation yourself, so that you determine how long you take your rest, instead of being stuck with a ten-minute meditation package.

4. Beat Stomper
Beat Stomper, the free App of the Week, is essentially a fairly simple game that relies mainly on its music and presentation. The game has a large number of unique dance numbers, which come into their own when you play with headphones. In terms of presentation, Beat Stomper distinguishes itself with a special, colorful neon look, including beautiful special effects for when you jump or punch. The game moves vertically upwards, where you always have to time well to make sure you reach the next platform in one piece.

5. Microsoft Pix
Microsoft has provided its camera app Pix with a major update. The app now turns your photos into works of art by completely editing pictures and giving them an effect. This works in much the same way as with Prisma, the most popular app for turning your photos into works of art. The cool thing is that you can see how the process works, instead of suddenly seeing your new image.
