The new week is just around the corner, but before that, let’s take a look back at the last seven days. The editors of iPhoned has rounded up the best iOS apps, games and updates from last week.
Last week’s 5 best iOS apps
The App Store is working overtime every week. New apps, updates for existing programs and games are added all the time. You probably don’t notice this much, because most of it is not worth downloading. iPhoned therefore separate the wheat from the chaff every Sunday. Here are this week’s best iOS apps, updates, and games.
1. Adobe Fresco
Adobe Fresco is an accessible drawing app that allows anyone to become an artist. With this app everyone can make the most beautiful sketches and paintings. Even if you think that you are not a good draftsman, this app is definitely recommended. Adobe has deliberately chosen to make the application as accessible as possible.
If you like to be creative, Fresco is a good outlet. The app has recently become free to download for your iPad in the App Store. You must first create an Adobe account or log in with your Facebook or Google account. Then you can get started. Do you want to know more? Then read our tip about the Adobe Fresco app.
2. Ziggo Wifi Assistant
Do you have slow or even no internet in some places in your house? That can be different! The Ziggo Wifi Assistant helps you find the problem and provides solutions to improve your internet. This app is also recommended for non-Ziggo customers.

The app uses augmented reality. First, your connection is checked step by step. Then you walk from your modem with the camera of your iPhone to different places in your house to take a measurement. You give the places a name, such as ‘living room’ or ‘bedroom’. You will then see the WiFi signal on your phone literally in your living room.
3. Adobe Photoshop
The Adobe Photoshop app is finally available for the iPad.
Adobe announced at an event last year that the full version of Photoshop would be coming to the iPad, but it took a while. Many designers did not opt for an iPad because the app was missing from the App Store, but that has now changed.

The app is free to download and use for 30 days. After that, you are supposed to take out a Creative Cloud subscription to continue using the application. Already have a subscription to Adobe’s apps, including Photoshop? Then you do not have to purchase a new subscription. If you log in with your paid account you can start right away.
4. Appie from Albert Heijn
Good news for the bargain hunters among us. Albert Heijn updated the Appie app last week, with the most important addition being the well-known bonus folder. This contains all products that are temporarily discounted, or where you receive a volume discount, for example. All bonus products can be ordered directly from the digital folder.

You can find the bonus folder under the Bonus tab in the app. Previously you could already see the discounted products here, but now the folder is displayed in its entirety. This is extra nice for people who compile their shopping list based on offers.
5. Next
If you’ve been using Apple Music for a while, you’ve probably built up quite the music collection. Over time, you leave some songs and albums behind, because there is so much new music coming out all the time. The new Next app will make you fall in love with your own curated music library again. The app does this by curating unique playlists.

The main feature is Magic DJ, which curates your most listened-to songs of all time. But Next has more to offer, including the Forgotten Songs playlist. It contains songs that you used to listen to often, but not anymore. Also nice is the Never Played list, which contains tracks that you have never listened to. It is a pity that Next is relatively pricey.
